Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed. The staff were very kind and always friendly and helpful. Only had a chance to have a small meal at the restaurant. It was exceptionally good so will definitely want to stay and eat there again. Easy to find and great parking
restaurant attached was fantastic, it says 'punjabi with hint of Italian' but the italian is basically to cater for kids that dont like spicy food. one of the best Curry restaurants I've been too and staff were very friendly. Hotel was good and clean, paid £95 which is a bit much but I suppose Saturday night in Newcastle is pretty busy.
Very noisy plumbing and there was a lot of noise from the very busy road outside. The sink in the bathroom was also the smallest I have ever seen!
very friendly always helpfull andvery clean would recomend it to friends and family .
the only thing i found was in the restarunt i found it to be quite cold when having my meal in the evening .
Very clean staff friendly ease of getting around newcastle
Just wished breakfast was a little bigger
The room was large and very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The underfloor heating took quite a time to heat the room but was effective when time was allowed, unfortunately it went off when the key which accessed the power was withdrawn. Although the concept of an Indian/Italian restuarant was unusual it was busy when we went down for dinner. Having opted for Indian food we could see why it was so popular. The food was delicious and good value.
Our only complaint was that, having arrived early and been unable to access our room (not unreasonable) we left our luggage at reception. When returning later and opening the cases we discovered that one of the padlocks was missing. No items were missing and we reported matters to reception.
I can answer this primarily in two words "The Staff". Although we have only stayed on two occasions, I still have to check this because we come away with the feeling that the staff has known us forever. ALWAYS a genuine warm welcome from Ian, Nav and the team and although the hotel may be a few pennies more than some of the competition, it is the welcome alone that makes up for the price difference. We will be returning again for certain. Best wishes, Stephen Bowden RO JP
surrounding area although no hassle whatsoever
Good food at a fair price Clean room Quiet and friendly
The bathroom was cold and we had to turn the heating on each day.It was turned off by the cleners and when we got back in the evening we had to turn the radiator on anain, The weather was very cold outside
pleasant welcome. hotel not too large. went to newcastle metro arena. not too far away from venue.
unfortunately very busy at breakfast in morning. not waiters fault everyone came for breakfast at about the same time.
Location, nice Indian Restaurant. Good Staff. All you need!
Breakfast poor, no Orange,no choice of Yogurt. Tasteless Sausage. No Fresh Coffee just instant sachet.
Friendly and welcoming. Excellent service. Good free car parking. Good price.
On main road and rooms by road not double glazed
Our room was directly abive the restaurant and it was a bit noisy during the evening
Very friendly and helpfull staff, excellent restaurant. Will stay again!
Excellent value for money, with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Top of the pile for a 3*** hotel. the foodreflected the Halal standards of this establishment, but taking this into account I was very pleased with my poached eggs, beans and mushrooms on toast - a very satisfying breakfast.
No staff on reception when I arrived. Bar and restaurant decor a bit dark fo rmy taste, but this is probably a personal view
